Elinor, a resident of Halifax has a career path which has been varied and interesting. After training as a radio broadcaster, she carried the lead position as a vocalist with a band. A mother of two and grandmother of one, she is committed to family, in whatever form it takes. She has a background in customer service and administrative support, including event planning. She understands the need for a couple to have the “perfect” day, especially the wedding ceremony joining them for their life journey together. Sherrie Bushen
Sherrie Bushen (BA., M.Div., M.Ed (Counselling), is an Acadia grad who lives in Halifax. She served as an ordained pastor for over 10 years with the Baptist Church in Nova Scotia before transferring to All Seasons Church of Canada. She is also a trained Psychologist. Her hobbies include, music, sports, and her beloved dog Abby. She is known for being empathetic and a great listener. She is very compassionate, kind and generous. Her communication and interpersonal skills will be a real asset to your event. Sherrie is a very energetic, down-to-earth and genuine person who is a joy to work with, and one who will ensure that your personal touch is central to your wedding ceremony.
For certain Sherrie was the right person for the job! It seemed our outside maritime wedding couldn’t get more complicated from blustering winds and rain, to the late arrival of our tent. But each time something seem to fall apart, Sherrie would be there with quick thinking and loads of practical advice. She not only helped with keeping us calm and getting things organized but she also read the crowd perfectly; bringing in a level of romance and love but also a certain level of hilarity. We are so happy to have met her and we both will continue to advertise her services to all our engaged friends!

Heather Star Williams married my Husband Shane and I in September 2009. She was so professional as well as kind from the minute we met her. We liked her so much that we asked her and her husband to stay for the wedding dinner and dance. Heather is intelligent, well spoken, sensitive to your needs, organized, and always on time. She brings excitement to the ceremony as opposed to a boring regular old speach. We had a wedding with about 150 people, everyone loved her-many saying they hadn't seen better! Hi Heather
You did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable and relaxed about the ceremony. You surpassed our expectations in every way. Having you preside over our wedding was a choice we will always be pleased with. Darren and I were especially touched by the fact that you took my family members outside to get photos taken when they didn't understand what was happening at the time. From the moment we met Heather we knew she was right for us. Heather not only played an instrumental part in our wedding, but also during the entire planning process. Heather always provided us with superior customer service, and it was very apparent that she truly cared about us and making our day a special one.
